The Ultimate WWF LJN Price Guide

Updated October 7, 2014

Note #1: This price guide only refers to MOC (mint-on-card) 8″ WWF LJN figures and NOT loose versions.  Prices are based on what these items have sold for on average over the last several months, and are based on average/good condition.  In other words, high quality versions may sell for more, and low quality versions may sell for less.   All prices are listed in US dollars.  And of course, these price guides are always going to be a subject of debate, with people claiming that they’re worth less or more than what’s listed.  Again, I’m basing these prices on what these items have sold for, on average, over the last several months on eBay, in Facebook groups, and through friends and collectors that I know.  So you might have seen one of these sell for a little more than what’s listed, or for a little less, at any given time.

Note #2: Many collectors and re-sellers put a lot of stock into MOC figures that have been graded by AFA (Action Figure Authority) / toygrader.com.  And it is true in some cases that a high rated figure (80+) sells for more than a non-graded or low-graded figure, because uninformed consumers believe in the legitimacy of the grading and feel it’s worth paying a premium for it.  As a collector myself, I don’t put any stock into the AFA grading system, as they are an independent company that gets paid to do it, and it’s based on the opinion of their employees; they are not an official “LJN governing body”.  That being said, these prices are based on non-graded figures.

Note #3: eBay by itself is not a proper gauge on pricing, due to fake bids often submitted by sellers on alias accounts for the purpose of driving up the prices.  Plus, just because somebody is asking an exorbitant amount of money for a figure, doesn’t mean they will actually be able to sell it for that.  So while I have included eBay when deriving the pricing here, it was not the only source I used.

Note #4: In some cases, variants aren’t worth any more than the other, so I listed those figures just once.  In other cases, certain variants are worth more than the other, so I listed those separately.

Note #5: Some figures, particularly some of the black card re-releases, hardly ever (if ever) come available for sale, in which case I gauged value based on what I paid for mine, or what I’ve been offered for them by interested buyers.
